Our PNAA COVID-19 Task Force continues its work since its official establishment on April 3, 2020. To date, members of our task force are also working with our PNAA Committee Chairs, who have COVID-19 related initiatives. This is our biweekly updates in lieu of the weekly mail since we started in March 2020. The curve of reported cases is slowing and going downwards, but we must remain vigilant and continue to monitor the surge in other parts of the country. Please refer to Appendix A for details of what is happening at the local chapter, and we continue to thank all the Presidents and RVPs for compiling the information.
This is our 7th week of providing updates to everyone. Moving forward, we will start sending updates every two weeks as the majority of us are keeping abreast of the latest COVID-19 information at the State level’s media and local news outlets. PNAA, as an affiliate organization of the American Nurses Association (ANA), recently received COVID-19 resources that members may avail.
